With a consumer base that spans across age and racial groups, BOH recognises that it has a unique position to reach people. The Company believes it can use its wide consumer base to help raise the level of public awareness on issues of national concern. BOH & WWF The project's second objective is to help create greater public awareness of the issues that threaten the fragile existence of these creatures through efforts including a community service message on the Putraline LRT together with Big Tree and RapidKL and a joint concert with ERA radio station featuring local music celebrities. In conjunction with the collaboration, BOH also developed a limited edition package for its BOH Cameron Highlands Tea which featured the orang utan and its plight, a donation card for anyone who wished to participate in the project and a premium giveaway. |
